Ping Software Windows 11 | 03-Mar-2025 |
PingTool is a powerful graphical Ping software (GUI) for professional administrators, network specialists and home users. PingTool can ping multiple objects in real time, scan the network, wake up devices and check TCP ports. A network speed test tool is included for manual or scheduled speed tests. It also has many other features.
By default, the ping is executed via the command line. At some point, administrators asks themselves whether there is a more convenient way of executing ping commands than via the command prompt. If you need to keep an eye on several objects at the same time, it can quickly become confusing. A graphical user interface (GUI) can solve this problem.

LAN Speed test
The tool allows you to perform network speed tests on the LAN. It performs several file copy operations and measures the bandwidth in Mbps from the determined time. A history is kept so that speed test results can be compared with each other. This tool for measuring bandwidth is part of a network administrator's toolbox. The perfect tool for network speed tests in the LAN.Scan IP address range
PingTool can scan IP address ranges. There is also an option to scan consecutive computer names (example: Printer001 to Printer200).User-defined actions
You can define your own favorite actions - for example your remote control software - and apply them via right mouse click (context menu) on one or multiple objects. The actions can consist of a simple command, a concatenation of commands or complete batch files. PingTool can be individually adapted to your requirements.Dashboard
The Dashboard provides a good overview in difficult environments such as server rooms or network basements.Wake up computers
PingTool can wake up remote computers via Wake-On-Lan. Wake-on-LAN (WOL) is an Ethernet computer networking standard that allows a computer to be turned on or awakened from sleep mode by a network packet. The Magic Packet is sent for this purpose. Several computers can be woken up at the same time with PingTool. Just select the desired objects an click the right mouse button.Wake-up across subnet boundaries
Most routers are not configured to allow wake-on-lan
packets to pass by default. Read how to solve this problem:
