Ping objects

PingTool pings objects and displays the result in colour (green/red). If the object responds, the response time is displayed.

Check TCP ports

A TCP port that is checked can also be specified for each object. As servers almost always provide TCP ports, this can be used to check more precisely whether a server is functional.

Wake up computers

PingTool can wake up remote computers via Wake-On-Lan. The Magic Packet is sent for this purpose.

Wake-up across subnet boundaries

Installation

PingTool does not need to be installed and does not write to the registry.

1. Copy the files into a directory, e.g. C:\Program Files (x86)\PingTool

2. Open the PingTool.exe file
